Under the PCSC Act 2022, the VRP have to publish mandatory products to show that we understand what is causing violence in our communities (SNA) and we have a Response Strategy to show our collaborative plan to tackle violence together. We then review our activity and publish an Annual Report to check we achieved what we have set out to do.

SNA Executive Summary
The Strategic Needs Assessment (SNA) provides a detailed overview of serious violence across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. Drawing on a wide range of partnership data sources, the SNA offers a comprehensive assessment of the current picture. It is published annually to ensure that partners have the most up-to-date evidence to inform decision-making and strategy.
Response Strategy
The Response Strategy is a document that is developed by the partnership and sets out how it will prevent and reduce serious violence. The response strategy translates the findings of the SNA into clear goals and actions to ensure partners have a collective approach to addressing the identified local risks and needs.
