Local residents support PCC’s priorities for policing

Almost 5,000 local residents and partners have given their views on the Police and Crime Commissioner’s draft Police and Crime Plan ‘More Police, Safer Streets’ and showed significant support for all nine priorities the Commissioner set out to make Hampshire and Isle of Wight two of the safest counties to live, work and visit.

The Police and Crime Commissioner’s Youth Commission is asking young people for their ideas on how to tackle serious violence (such as knife crime), the exploitation of young people, for example through grooming and county lines, and hate crime as part of its Big Conversation 2021.
