Apply for funding

The Police and Crime Commissioner, through the Commissioning Team, works to support victims of crime, reduce crime and reduce reoffending.
She provides funding to support victims of crime helping recovery and to support policing to aid the prevention of crime and reduction of offending.
The PCC provides regular opportunities to bid for funding and invites organisations to explain how they can work together to achieve her vision and improve community safety by looking for new and exciting approaches, whilst still supporting those ideas that have been proven to work.
Funding Network
We are excited to announce the launch of the Funding Network, an initiative by the Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) for Hampshire and Isle of Wight. This network aims to streamline the grant application process for PCC funding opportunities, build local capacity amongst our partners and enhance collaboration among current and potential grant recipients.
Joining the network does not guarantee funding but ensures your organisation is well-prepared for future opportunities. You must apply to and be accepted into the Funding Network before applying for any grant funding opportunities.

The Safer Communities Fund is one of a number of ways the Commissioner invests in our communities, providing grant funding for organisations to deliver projects that make a positive difference. Through this fund, the Commissioner wants to support initiatives that address local concerns, strengthen community resilience, and help ensure Hampshire and the Isle of Wight remain safe places to live, work and visit.
This fund will remain open until 15:00 (3pm) on Friday 16 October 2026 and the Commissioner welcomes all applications.
Before you start your application, please note the following:
- The funding period is for a minimum of 12-months. Any extension will be subject to the Commissioner’s decision and contingent upon the project or intervention maintaining strategic relevance, achieving agreed outcomes, and the availability of funding.
- The maximum amount you can apply for per application, per 12-month period depends on your organisation’s Funding Network membership level:
- Tier One: up to £10,000
- Tier Two: up to £30,000
- Tier Three: up to £50,000
- Organisations may submit up to four applications to this funding opportunity. Please read the Guide to Applying for Funding and Needs Assessments before completing this application form. It contains essential information about eligibility, application requirements and the assessment process.
