In order to build an inclusive society in which every person is able to contribute and reach their maximum potential it is of utmost importance that hate crimes are challenged and perpetrators are addressed. Hate crimes have no place in our society, they affect the very core of a person’s identity.

Accepting individuals irrespective of who they are and how they choose to live their lives is a sign of a mature and inclusive society, one which every human being should strive for. Every individual has a right to live their life free of discrimination and prejudice, to be proud of their identity and not to live in fear.
