29 June – 5 July: Tackling Domestic Abuse

  • Monday 29 July – Domestic Abuse – it’s not just physical: Recognise the signs and forms of Domestic Abuse
  • Tuesday 30 June – Anyone of any age can be a victim: Victim Care Service share coping mechanisms for children including an instruction kit on how to make a worry monsters.
  • Wednesday 01 July – Employer focus: A Webinar jointly hosted by the PCC and North East Hampshire Domestic Abuse Forum to help employers support their employees who have been affected by Domestic Abuse and that will seek views from local firms to feed into a Government consultation https://dawebinar.eventbrite.co.uk
  • Thursday 02 July – Breaking the Cycle: The Hampton Trust share information about how they work with perpetrators to break the cycle of abuse. Plus learn how you can protect yourself and others by using your Right to Ask.
  • Friday 03 July – Dispelling the Myths: Specialist Domestic Abuse advisers at Victim Care Service debunk some frequently heard myths regarding Domestic Abuse.
  • Saturday 04 July – Domestic Abuse anyone of any gender can be a victim: View the new film from Hampshire Cultural Trust, Hampshire CAMHS and the Youth Commission that aims to promote healthy relationships.
  • Sunday 05 July – You are not alone: Find out about the support available for those experiencing domestic abuse

22 June – 28 June: Staying safe from fraud and scams

15 June – 21 June: Protecting children and older people

Neighbourhood Watch

Find a Watch scheme in your community, and apply to join or send a message to the scheme coordinator. Neighbourhood Watch provides a way for local people to play an important part in making their communities safer.
