Restorative Justice Week

25 November 2018

The Police and Crime Commissioner’s team will be marking Restorative Justice Week (18-25 November) through their activities this year.

Residents and council staff are invited to find out more about Restorative Justice and how it can help victims of crime and anti-social behaviour gain answers from the person who has caused them harm.

During RJ Week (18-25 November) there will be information stands at

  • Portsmouth City Council on Monday 19 November 9.30am to 1.30pm
  • Eastleigh Borough Council on Tuesday 20 November 10:00am to 1pm
  • Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council on Wednesday 21 November 10:00am to 1pm

A new website www.rjhampshire.org.uk  is also available to help victims, their friends and family, to find out more about Restorative Justice and how it could help them. The site also holds information for professionals who work with victims or offenders so they can discuss Restorative Justice as an option with the people they support.
