Christmas in Eastleigh

17 November 2018

On Saturday 17 November, Michael Lane’s team will be joining in the festive fun in Eastleigh with a market stall. Residents will be able to get information on the services that the Police and Crime Commissioner provides in Eastleigh and finding out about which policing and crime priorities they would like the part of council tax they pay towards policing to be spent on.

The team will be collecting suspected scams and handing out Safer Packs which offer a range of advice on how to spot different scams, the best ways to protect yourself from becoming a victim of fraud and the  support that is available if you are a victim of fraud.

The free family day out also features Santa’s Grotto, entertainment, live music and a variety of specially selected market stalls. The climax of the event is the spectacular torchlight parade and a dazzling firework display in the Leigh Road Recreation Ground.
